THE
FARES FOR ALL PARISIAN TAXI are
regulated by the Paris Prefect of Police. All
Parisian Taxis are obliged to display the fare
card on the rear left window of the car. The fares
are calculated by the taximeter which is on the
dashboard of the car and can be clearly viewed by
customers.
The taxi rates are composed as follows: |

The fixed
starting rate, displayed on the meter. |

Distance: In
addition to the flag fall, you will have to pay
more depending on how far your travel, the time of
the day and the area, included in the sum
displayed on the meter. |

Waiting time:
The hourly rate when the taxi awaits you and when
the cab is moving less than 40 KPH (approximately
24 MPH), included in the sum displayed on the
meter.

|
Extras:
Charges made for additional services, added to the
sum displayed on the meter. |

PICKING UP OF
EVERY GROWN-UP PASSENGER FROM THE FOURTH PERSON:

Luggage usually means any bag or parcel weighing 5 kgs or more, skis, bicycles, baby carriages, small
piece of furniture, pictures, etc... |
NOTES |

A TIP WILL ALWAYS
BE APPRECIATED BY THE DRIVER. Customarily,
this should be about 10%, depending on the
courtesy (kindness, professionalism of the driver,
as well as the cleanliness of the cab).
A fixed price can be agreed in advance, it
is not illegal, but you should be aware that this
always leads to one party losing out on the
bargain.
In the event of breakdown, the passenger
must pay the fare as soon as 10 €uro cent appears
on the meter besides the flag fall.
At the end of the journey, the driver must give
you a receipt if you request one. |

Parisian railway stations, the meter will show
less than 15 €. |

From center of
Paris to Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport, it
will cost you between 40 et 45 € by day and
between 45 et 50 € by night. According to the
terminal used, the prices can vary more or less
6 €. |

From center of
Paris to Orly airport, you will have to allow
between 25 and 30 € by day, between 30 and 35 € by
night. |

|
From Orly airport
to Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport or vice
versa, the ride will cost you 55 € by day and 65 €
by night. |

To go to
Disneyland Paris from the center of Paris or
from one of the Parisian airports, you should
expect approximately on 75 € by day as by night. |

In a taxi, it is
your responsibility to have the right money
for the fare. The use of credit cards is not very
widespread in Parisian Taxis, and payment by
cheque is seldom accepted. |
