IT'S
IMPORTANT, notably when you
arrive at an airport or a railway station, not
to confuse taxi with limousines, great luxury
vehicles, without any distinctive external sign,
which apply special contract rates. Be wary of illegal taxis (without external
sign and meter) which offer you special contract
rates, often much higher than normal rates.
TO
TAKE A TAXI, you can...
Hail it in the street, as
long as it is more than 50 metres from a rank. If
it is less than 50 metres, it can only pick you up
providing there are no cabs at the rank.
Call one of the ranks
equipped with a telephone.
Telephone a radio-taxi service,
which will then pick you up from where you are
calling.
Pre-book with an
independent driver or a radio-taxi service.
